Camping at Crowsnest Pass
We went on a camping trip at the end of May out to Crowsnest Pass at a place called "Atlis Staging area". It is a campground (sorta, no hookups or water so you pretty much need a camper with propane and a battery) that you can quad right out of your campsite. Most campgrounds do not allow this and you have to load up your quads and take them out of the vicinity of the campground to go quading. At this place it was cool because we could go out for just like 20 minutes or for longer and at our own leisure. There were about ten of us altogether, including the kids. Jackson got to go out a few times with me and with Jody. He loves it and we can't wait until we can buy him his own quad so he can ride beside us. On the way, we went through Pincher Creek which has tons, I mean tons of these windmills (see pic). Apparently they have the most windpower in all of Canada. We also did some fishing when we got there; we bought Jackson his own fishing rod and he loved it. He also loved throwing rocks in the water which is probably partly why we didn't catch anything (he scared all the fish away!). Jody taught him how to say "here, fishy fishy fishy!" We had fun anyway, even if we didn't catch anything. There are three posts of camping pictures.
