Jackson and Avery's birthday party!

We celebrated Jackson and Avery's birthdays early this year so that all of the family could be there. It was on July 23 and their real birthdays are on July 31 (Jackson) and September 4 (Avery). So, Avery's was REALLY early, but oh well, she didn't mind! Anyway, the kids played outside and ate, then we came inside for presents and cake (in the picture). Jackson was looking forward to it all week so he was pretty excited all morning and couldn't wait for presents! He didn't even want to eat his cake because he was too busy playing with his new toys! At least he took a short break to blow out his candles and pose for a picture!

These are just a few cute pictures from the past month. The ones of Jackson on the slide are of our makeshift waterslide with a hose running down it that goes right into his pool. He loves it! The others are self-explanatory. Enjoy!

Canada Day 2006

On Canada Day, Medicine Hat puts on a festival that we go to every year. This was Avery's first year. Both Jackson and Avery had lots of fun. Of course they had a bounce house, face painting, etc. Here are a few pictures from our day!

Avery's New Jewelery

Avery is such a girly girl. She loves anything sparkly so I decided to order her her own set (necklace, bracelet, anklet)! I had it custom made from ebay. The girl does such cute stuff! Avery loves it because it's kid-friendly so she is allowed to play with it, unlike my stuff. Anyway, I loved the girly skulls; very one-of-a-kind!
