Easter Pictures
These pictures were taken on Easter Sunday. The second and third pics are of the kids posing with the Easter presents they got from their grandma (Jody's mom). The second last one (and the first one it seems) was from Jackson's easter egg hunt that Jody and I set up for him. We should have bought more eggs though because there were only like 25 and he found them within minutes. We filled each egg with candy or small toys. The last picture pretty much explains itself considering all the chocolate floating around the house at Easter!
Another new favorite
Avery has another new favorite toy, which was Jackson's favorite toy when he was her age too (go figure). It is a piano that has three positions; she can lay under it and it has toys that hang down, she can sit at it like shown and she can stand at it. It is awesome because they can use it for so long. Anyway, as you can see, Jackson still likes it. Although, I think he may have just wanted to be in the pictures!
Snuggle bugs
When Avery wakes up in the morning after Jackson, he loves to sneak in and climb into her crib with her. He gives her hugs and kisses and cuddles with her until I come in and discover them. This day I figured I'd better capture this moment so I can show them how much they loved eachother when they get older (it may also be good bribery when they are teenagers! haha. I would never do that! or would I...)
Puddle Jumpin'
It was so dreary and rainy this Sunday so Jackson and I decided that we would go outside anyway and go puddle jumping in the big puddle that had built up across the street. He wore all the necessary gear that he needed and unfortunately for me, I did not have any of the necessary gear so I had to sit back and take pictures. He got me wet quite a few times though and had lots of fun with that!

First Highchair Experience
These are a few pictures of Avery's first experience in her highchair. She actually did remarkably well and I think she enjoyed being at eye level with everyone at the table. For some reason, though, she made way more of a mess when I fed her in the highchair than she ever did in her baby feeding chair, and once she got a hold of her cookie afterwards, it only got worse! Also, she kept trying to grab her bowl and chew on it so I had to make sure to keep it out of reach!

Jackson's fort
The other day, Jackson and I built a fort in the living room. It was his first fort ever, and he was so excited about it. We had it up all day and he played under there practically the whole time! Avery spent a little time under there with her brother also (you can sorta see her in the background). Now he always brings the blanket we used that time into the living room and starts trying to build another fort on his own.
