Build-a-bear

While we were in Edmonton, I took Jackson to build-a-bear at West Edmonton mall. For those of you not familiar with it, first you pick a teddy bear that isn't stuffed. Then you help stuff it (shown where Jackson is pressing the foot pedal), kiss a heart and rub it on your belly for good luck (kissing the heart is shown), put the heart in the bear, pick a sound to put in the bear (Jackson picked a giggling sound), the lady sews the bear up, then you fluff the bear at the air shower (shown), and lastly, you pick out an outfit for the bear. There are so many clothes to choose from, from "Skechers" shoes to sunglasses, to tiaras for girls, to Buzz Lightyear costumes. You name it, they have it for teddy bears. Jackson really enjoyed himself and there is a picture included of his finished bear and the bear's birth certificate. He went for a simple look for the bear. I was hoping he would pick the Skechers runners but he only wanted "bearboxer" underwear and a hoodie. Oh well, cheaper for me I guess!

At Kerry's house

These pictures are from my friend Kerry's house in Edmonton. The other baby is her son Mason. It was nice to get the two babies together. They are only three weeks apart. The funny chair thingy is called a bumbo ( pronounced boobo- don't ask me why). It is Mason's but as you can see, both kids tried it out. Jackson got a kick out of it; I can't believe he actually fit! Avery liked it too; she seemed to enjoy being able to look around and see what was going on instead on seeing it from laying on the floor.

At West Ed Waterpark

These pictures are from the West Edmonton Mall Waterpark. We all had a blast. Jackson's favorite waterslide was called the "blue bullet" which there aren't any pics of but it was a pretty big waterslide for a little guy. He is very brave. There is one part that goes really fast and he was just like "weeeee!" no problem at all. They also has a water playground type thing which is shown. It didn't keep Jackson occupied very long though; he just wanted to go watersliding.
